Hi, I'm Christian — a builder at heart with a background in tech. After years in the world of network engineering and project delivery, I decided to future-proof my career in the most human way possible: by following my passion for building, remodeling, and working with my hands.

 

Over the years, I’ve remodeled our mid-century Eichler home here in Walnut Creek, renovated our family cabin up in Arnold, and transformed a commercial space in San Francisco into a beautiful hair salon, now run by my wife.

 

Whether it’s residential or light commercial, I enjoy taking on projects that blend form, function, and craftsmanship.

I have a solid foundation in electrical engineering (B.S.) and telecommunications (M.S.), and decades of experience in IT networking, wireless systems, audio-visual, and electronics. That technical background often comes in handy — especially for smart home setups or AV installations.

 

While I’m not yet licensed, I’m actively working toward both my General Contractor and Electrician licenses. I bring the same attention to detail and code compliance now as I will once those certifications are official.

 

Born and raised in Norway, I’ve been in the U.S. since 1992 and proudly bring a Scandinavian eye for clean, functional design and quality workmanship to every project I take on.
